BSI Solutions sponsors meals for over 200 volunteers at the 2nd Annual Joy to the Carolinas Event!
Christmas came early this year in Charlotte, NC for over 1,000 people, and BSI Solutions was able to be an intricate part of it. The Carolina Panthers and Coca Cola Consolidated partnered for the second year to bring Christmas to over 1,500 people at the Joy to the Carolinas event, which took place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
This special holiday drive through experience provided food, winter clothing, shoes and toys for deserving children and their families. This event pulled together over 200 volunteers from several organizations including: Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Harris Teeter, Coca Cola Consolidated and the Carolina Panthers just to name a few. BSI was- able to sponsor the meals for these amazing volunteer’s and volunteer their time as well.
In the wake of devastating and unknown times, this event created a memorable experience for many families and was a much-needed stress relief for some. Recipients were selected by over a dozen local non-profits, including the Salvation Army of Concord, Cabarrus Cooperative, Charlotte Family Housing, Charlotte Bilingual Preschool, Rowan Helping Ministries, Families First in Cabarrus County, Children’s Home Society, Safe Alliance, Police Activities League, YMCA, Charlotte Housing Authority, Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Dove’s Nest.
BSI’s involvement in this event was nothing short of amazing and we will continue our commitment to community-based initiatives into the new year!
