BSI Solutions, Inc. Donates Laptop Computers And VR Headsets to West Cabarrus YMCA Leaders in Training Program students!

BSI Solutions, Inc. recently donated laptop computers and VR Headsets to students at the West Cabarrus YMCA who are involved in their Leaders in Training program to assist students in engaging with instructors in real-time, as well as interact with, manipulate, and build objects and virtually touch items they may not have previously had access to via the company’s virtual reality platform Novel Education in Virtual Reality (NEVR).

The NEVR platform is an interactive, fully immersive platform that uses the power of virtual reality for education and training. This innovative concept in educational technology provides students and teachers stand-alone Virtual Reality headsets that enable them to enter the classroom from anywhere.

The Leaders in Training Program offers teens training and hands-on experience in becoming community leaders. Staff members teach teens group management skills and important leadership tools for them to utilize in their daily lives. These upcoming leaders will tackle subjects like character development, safety, decision making, goal setting, communication, accountability, teamwork, and more in their journeys to become the next generation of leaders.

“We are extremely excited for the opportunity to partner with the West Cabarrus YMCA to achieve its mission of creating strong and forward-thinking future leaders.  When we think about the future of our workforce and our youth today, we must include technology everywhere possible.  We are committed to empowering our youth with cutting-edge technology to prepare them for their future.  We know that the donation provided to the West Cabarrus YMCA is only the first of many kinds.  We are looking forward to hearing and seeing how the students enjoy the new way of learning with our NEVR (Novel Education in Virtual Reality) platform!” says Dr. Kendrick Carroll, President, and CEO of BSI Solutions, Inc.

“We at the West Cabarrus YMCA are incredibly excited and humbled by BSI Solutions’ very generous donation in support of our Summer Camp programs. The equipment and associated software will allow us to provide unique opportunities and an even greater experience for our youth campers. We know the summer campers are going to be thrilled by the learning experiences made accessible because of this partnership.” says Brent Rocket, Executive Director at the West Cabarrus YMCA.
